Basket of Flowers

Today, May 18th is my day to post a project using a digital stamp from Scrappers Delights Store and I chose the Basket of Flowers for my presentation.

With this image I watercolored the image with Crayola Supertips markers...I applied the color to my glass block that I use for acrylic stamps, and with my water color brush I colored in the image.  Before coloring, I placed the image into my Silhouette Studio Design Edition software, and created a background mat for the image, and than again for the mat...giving it two layers.  

I placed onto a card that I had in my stash ... I used a rolling stamp to create the top border on the card, layered with a teal green mat, and believe the card stock is/was from Stampin! Up.  And stamped 'thinking of you' with the stamp "Teeny Tiny Wishes' by Stampin! Up.

Good morning Tracey here, it my turn for the post.

So I have gone for this lovely image called Holly Hobbie Set 1 which you can get here.



They are gorgeous, So I have make a cloud template & gone over with my distress ink so we have some sky in the picture. Coloured them both with promarkers & crystal glitter. Cut our using a spellbinder dies layered on to pink & purple card. Using a boarder punch down one edge all this on to a pale lilac gingham paper. The extra are ribbon,gems,sentiment,pearls & flowers.

Hollie Hobbie: Pink and Fancy

Hello everyone, I am Leona with a post for you today using the Fabulous Hollie Hobbie digi stamp.  She is available here.

I found a colour challenge which dictated my colour theme and worked perfectly with the patchwork dress.  I also used a Sketch challenge .  The papers were all odd bits I had, from DoCrafts and Jack & Jill.  I over-coloured some of the papers with a coral Promarker to make them fit the colour challenge.  The flowers and butterflies were all odd bits from my stash and again I coloured some of them to make them match the colour theme more closely.

Here Is My Project

I used Kitty

HERE

I printed the skull Digi Paper that comes with the character Minxy HERE

on to Cor'dinations Colour core Card stock

and used the Fiskars tearing ruler to expose the light pink card core.

NOTE: 

When printing the digi papers on to coloured card make sure you have your settings on best/photo print

this is because the card is more absorbent that plain paper...unless you want a light subtle look of cause XXX

 I used Cor'dinations

Black Magic

Colour core Card stock

& the Hougie Distressing Tool

to rough up the edges to show the purple core.

I wanted to do a portrait of her

so I made her large enough and cut her out using

my Bigshot & Xcut Dies Large Oval/ Scalloped Oval

I added the sentiment "Meow" which is in Tabitha's HERE

and the Xcut Tag/Bookplates die

I also reversed her so she is looking the other way....just to be different lol

As you can see I do tend to build up my basic card design first before I colour, this way I can match in my copic's with the colour theme.

(You will see latter the card design does still change or evolve as I like to think of it lol)

Basic: 0, 100

Skin: E000, E00, E11 & E31

Cheeks: R20

Freckles: Sakura white gel pen 

Hair: E29, E31, E33, E35 & E37

Bow , Top & Mittens: V000, V04 V06 & V09

Shorts & Cuffs: C1, C3, C5 & C7

Here is the finished project

 

To finish it off I added
Two black button brads to the "Meow!" sentiment tag.
Black Bow and added a pink bell to it.
4 white pearls.
4 white paper roses & 2 black paper roses....which have not shown particularly well.

In this post I am going to show you how I

used two digi stamps and made them one image

giving you more creativity.

I will be using Photoshop but you can apply this method in a similar program

as long as you have layers.

Once the lines have been deleted you can remove the layer style and re save

as a jpg or png.

.....and get creative!

Give Me A Squeeze!

Hi All!

Jodi here with bringing you a bright Spring project - which is ironic because Spring has yet to be sprung here in Ohio. I used an image from the CU Digital Stamp Honey collection, there are several poses to choose from - all totally adorable.

The card base is by Hampton Art and the print paper is by DCWV. I color coordinated my paper flowers with her outfit by coloring them with Copics. I used YG03, YG05, YG07, YR00, YR02, YR04 (I also used this on the flowers), Y02, Y04, Y08, E000, E01, E02, E11, BG02, BG11, BG13, BG15, E51, E53 and E55. Shew! I remembrered them all!

Hello everybody! 

It's Valou250809 here.

It is about my second post already for " Of Scrapper Delight ". 

This time, I show you a card realized with " Angels Digi 3 ".

For the coloring of the image, I used some pink chalk, a felt-tip Copic B00, a felt-tip Copic W02 and a pencil aquarellable black. I covered wings with glitter " Distress " of the mark "Ranger".

Once cut, the image is stuck on a die-cut realized with "Cuttlebug" and a dies "Marianne Designs" with the foam 3-d. 

For the rest of the decoration, I used of the lace, the white polka-dot pink satin ribbon, the ribbon pink organza and diverse flowers resulting from the shop " Flower Love Delice ".

All the flowers are covered with some touches of "Glitter Stickels Icicle".

Good morning and Happy Spring to all.  This is my first posting as a member of the Design Team for Scrapper's Delights Paper Crafting and I am enjoying very much this opportunity to be part of a wonderful team.

The digi stamp image I chosen is For U...colored with Copic and Stampin! Up markers.  I cut out four squares from design paper by Colorbox, layered on card stock.  Than I placed on a 8.5x4.25 card base, and punched out the top with a edge punch in lacy edging.

I stamped 'Hello' onto card stock, punched out with a scalloped oval hand punch and foam taped to the one corner.  This card would make a lovely note card for someone; or a thank you card.
