Hiya Everybody! This is Kim here, posting the creation that I made using Bridget, Chin, and Cho...for the new Back to School Challenge. I am one of the newbies to the team here at Scrapper's Delight so bare with me while I get my feet firmly planted. LOL And I want to send out a big thank you to Janice for allowing me to become a part of her Scrapper's Delight Team!
When I think of "back to school" I think SCHOOL SUPPLIES!!! And if you have a daughter as picky as mine you think of lunch boxes right after! There are so many different styles out there but they are either really plain or way to girly! So I thought that I could make her one. It would be one of a kind and special because "mom" made it! LOL Yeah I know....that is all in my head!
Anyway I created a background with digital images from Make It Crafty....layered them in Paint Shop Pro and then added my characters. I let Jenna choose the "people" she wanted....yes I let her in on some of the fun! She chose Bridget (freebie in the store) and Chin and Cho (from the Chin and Cho set), as well as a few characters from Kenny K's. I am not going to get into all the little details, I will only say that it was a lot of coloring!!! LOL
Here are some pictures of my lunchbox creation!!
You can see where I had to add
Also take a look at the other team members' blogs!!! There are some wonderfully talented people out there! Lots of inspiration! Make sure to send out some prayers to all the people dealing with this wacky weather and send up some prayers to Janice that her adorable little boy gets through his chicken pox a little less itchy! Or as my daughter called it "chicken pops!" HUGS!!!

Here is a picture of the first stages of coloring! I tried to make it look like a continuation of the wall and over lapped when I adhered it to the tin!
You can see where I had to add
a tag because the size was not perfect! LOL
But the other size over lapped just fine!
At the window is where I stuck
it together!! Hope you like it!
Don't forget to check out the
challenge and check out the store,
there are some amazing sales going on!!!
