Loving Layers

Hi everyone.  I got this little girl here at Scrappers Delights. Her outfit reminded me of one my daughter had when she was about two and a half years old.  I loved it so much that poor little girl wore it a lot.  It was the sweetest little leopard print dress.  So when I started working on this cutie pie that dress came to mind and I wanted to dress this little one like I dressed my little one.  So what I did for this simple thank you card was to focus on layers.  I printed out five copies of her and then colored in different parts.  Her pony tails have three layers, the top part of her head has four layers, even her shoes have two layers.  

Let's look at a close up of the card itself.

What I did her was to layer brown card stock with book page card stock. Then I took a piece of punched paper and cross stitched that with brown floss.  On top of that I put a crochet flower swag and then out little angel.  Now check out what the whole finished card looks like.
