Kitten calling

I have a new Angel image for you to day - from Janice over at Scrapper's Delight.  You know me - I am not a 'cutie' people person - but I really do love the Gothic look that Janice gets into her drawings.

The wings are a neat trick I use sometimes.  Go over just the outlines with a fine tip metallic pen - this one is gold.  It gives you a light feathery look that is really pretty

Scrapper Delight's Cupid

Scrapper's Delight's Cupid

With Valentine's Day around the corner, Love is in the air. When I saw this cupid I knew I had to find some lovey dovey pictures of my husband and I, to make a layout. Found some really old pictures my mother in law took of my husband and I first Christmas. Christmas is not to obvious in the phots, so I knew Cupid was perfect. And the joy of digital images you can resize to fit your project. I made a few videos showing how I colored this image, if you would like to watch. But first here is a photo of my layout. Used lots of trim to make various layers and some I am roses to accent. Hope you like, Have a Great day.

Visit http://scrappersdelights.com/store/ she has cupid in a few different styles to best fit your projects.
Besides, there are a bunch more great digis!!!!!

Pryamage Card and Tutorial

Greetings!

Today I am going to share with you a baby card I made using the Pyramage sheets.  I created a tutorial to show how I created my pyramage image digitally using MS Word.  I hope you find the information useful.

For this tutorial I will use Digital Pryamage Sheets from Scrapper’s Delights.   I came up with this tutorial because I wanted to save on the amount of ink I used.  If I would have printed out each square image or only a few, it would have used more ink.
Open up a MS Word document and insert your Pryamage Sheet.  Make copies of the entire sheet for the numbr of each square you would like to use.  For example if you decided that 5 layers were enough for you, then you would copy the entire sheet five times.  You will crop the 5 layers that you want to work with.  PLEASE NOTE:  You don’t have to use all the Pryamage Squares it really depends on the look you would like to achieve.
Then use the cropping tool to crop out the squares that you want to work with.  Be sure to keep the sizing the same as the original sheet.  This is important when you begin to assemble them.  You want them to fit perfectly and not be disproportioned.

Once you have all your layers cropped, then you can add shadowing to your images.  Click on a layer and at the top of your toolbar your “Pictures Tools” tab should pop up.  While still having your layer selected click on the “Picture Tools” tab and select “Picture Effects, Shadow and Outer.”  Dependingon what version of MS Word you are using there are several outer shadows to choose from.  You can click on the different shadows and see which one works for you.  For the sample below, I chose Outer, Offset Diagonal bottom right.  (This step could be done after you have grouped your images together as well.)
Group your images together (using the Grouping tool under the Drawing Tools), which will allow you to move the images as one image instead of separately.   You can now print your image off and cut out one square (instead of 5).  Also, you could copy your image into Paint and save it as a jpeg or png for future use.

Hope you give it a try!  Stop by Scrapper's Delights store and pick up your very on Pyramage Sheets.

Hey all you wonderful crafty people out there in blogland!
I wanted to share with you two projects I made using some
of the new images that Janice has made for us.
The first is called Cupid 4.
She is a little bit sassy and a little bit sexy all rolled into one!

I fussy cut her and added her to a pot I made from cardstock.
I put a piece of styrofoam in the bottom to make the blo-pops and image stand up.
I think it make an adorable Valentine's day gift!

The next is a magnet Imade using one of the new
Pyramage sheets. These are really neat to make BUT
I do reccomend only doing every other size...I used them all and
it made it a bit big to add to a card! They come 6 sheets for $2.00 in the store!

I really like the look and feel of this...so much dimension!
I used my really thin foam tape between them.
Hope you enjoyed seeing my little projects and
it inspires you to check out the latest images in the store!
HUGS!!!

Quickie shout out for the freebie of the month on Scrapper's Delights

It's a lipstick - kiss - image - - - but you know me - - let's corrupt it for a Valentine's days card!!!!

I put the kiss image into my Publisher - and made it big enough to use on a 6" square card - then the magic - I changed the colour to a strong pink - how cool is that!!!!

The image is matted with red - and the letters are cut on the Cuttle bug

- how cool is this

Morning

Morning blogger friends.

I would like to share my new make with you this morning. I asked Janice to just surprise me, in which digi to use for this card, and she didnt dissapoint. this little lady is just soo cute. But I was in 2 mind on what to make with her.
I ended up colouring her before choseing my papers to go with her, a total no-no for me. I decided i wanted something really fresh and spring like, as January is such a drab month. I cant wait till spring set in, but in the meantime a few colourful card will have to do..

Now I hope you all like my card. For full recipie, pop over on my blog.

Kitten calling

I said to Janice that I was doing the Valentine archer and she said - 'that's my faverate' - ok Janice - NO pressure there then!!!!

Hope you like what I did with her

I had the idea for the topper first - the embossing at the side and the ribbon - so I did all theat first - then I dug in the scraps box for something that pinks and reds with out being too heavy.

The colouring is Copics - really pleased with the hair.  Still not all that good at heair - but this worked out great.  New colour combo - the E9xs are an aubun look

Love is in the air...

Greetings!

Today I am bringing you a very pretty pixie fairy from Scrapper's Delights. Janice images are so magical and elegant. I really enjoy working with them. Here's my creation using the Dragonfly Pixie Digi.

I used this gorgeous paper from MME's Found collection. It has lots of sheets of pretty two-sided paper that is perfect for those Valentine's day cards. I kept with the pink-red theme and added some pearl embellishments to finish it off. You can snag this beauty by visiting the store here and while you are there check out the other awesome images Janice has created.

Copic Combo Book using Honey

Scrapper's Delight January Project- Sign and Copic Combo book

Goodafternoon all. I have been working on a couple projects. This month Janice has made some great images,  my favorite is Honey. You get 4 great images of her, perfect for any card or layouts. I have used her "head and torso" to make me a book to make an example of all the copic combos. We all like working with copics and it helps to know was blends well, and if your like me, you don't remember later what colors you used and loved or hate for that matter. So this way I can go back and look at my book to repeat my favorite colors. I made a video and attaching some pictures. Hope this inspires you.

PS: I made a sign to use in my videos as a design team member of scrappers delight, I have included some examples of images I love on her site. She has several freebee stamps on her sight, so check them out for sure.
